01 / What is it?
What is it?
MOTS-C is a very small peptide linked to mitochondria. Mitochondria are parts of your cells that help turn nutrients from food into usable energy.
The signalling chain

MOTS-C
Why do people find it interesting?
It is said that MOTS-C affects the way cells handle energy, sugar and physical stress.
What might you notice?
Users report changes in energy or exercise performance.
What happens in your body?
MOTS-C is studied as a “message” that mitochondria send to the rest of the cell about energy and stress. Under stress or exercise, it can move to the cell’s control centre (the nucleus) and help switch genes on or off, which may change how your body uses sugar and fat for fuel.

Important to know
Mild redness, swelling, itching or soreness at the injection spot are common and usually go away on their own.

Dose information from the guide
Doses start with an amount of 5 mg twice a week, and can go up to 10 mg, divided into two or three administrations per week. For example, administration may be divided across Monday, Wednesday and Friday. We suggest periods of 2 to 4 weeks followed by a break of 2 to 4 weeks.
